Jörg Bach is interested in the interaction of volumes and void (emptiness), core and shell, inside and outside. His forms penetrate each other, creating an energetic centre, chore to movement and rhythm
Jörg Bach's work is multi-faceted. As a sculptor, he examines the various possibilities of rhythm that composed linear forms. His lines overlap each other, gain density and reach out into the surrounding space by endings of themselves.
Bach is interested in the interaction of volumes and void (emptiness), core and shell, inside and outside. His forms penetrate each other, creating an energetic centre, chore to movement and rhythm. His sculptures have many ‘angles' and therefore various perspectives points to be seen from.
Steel is his favourite material and it could be either rusted or polished. If polished, the sculpture will received the shine of aluminium and will have fantastic reflections. It will absorb the light and will conform to Bach's ideas of interactions
